One of my cavs had throat surgery about 3 years ago (she had laryngeal paralysis). I've thought about changing all the dogs kibble (all of our local distributors quit carrying my brand Royal Canine Mini Lite), but hers has to be quite small to chew/swallow. How can you tell kibble size before buying a whole new bag? icon_nwunsure

You might try e-mailing the various manufacturers and explaining your predicament. My wife gets free samples of food all the time because we are breeders, and I'll bet you could get a sample also, given your situation. Only question is how it would fit into your schedule for changing food.
