    It was a rough night. Éowyn hadn’t pooped since the morning at the vet, and even though she wanted to, it was too difficult for her to let go. Right now we have a cold winter period (cold for Denmark) with -15⁰C in the night (5⁰F) and chilly winds, so I didn’t want her to be out too long. Anyway, I decided not to force her, when she wanted to go inside again.

    Warning – today it is a very long post with explicit photographs below!

    Homecoming today! We had prepared for a few days with dogs without bladder and intestine control:
    I and the dogs move to the spare bedroom for the first days; if accidents happen only one small bed has to be cleaned.
    • Next to the bed I have placed two of their baskets/cradles, if they feel more comfortable there during the night.
    • Lots of clean towels and soft cloths to clean them if accidents

    Zoey and her brother were put up as rescue from a breeder because of the "soft Knees". I don't know what kind of breeder she came from. My vet has checked her out and her knees are doing really good. In fact, he has seen them improve so much from her "carpet time" that he sees no long term effects.
