  1. My First week with the humans by Teddy aged 9 and a half weeks.

    The 'mummy one has gone off to watch the 'daddy one' make sunday lunch (she is very lucky), so thought I would have a bash at this, looks easy enough.

    So, its the end of my first week with these two. Bit of a shock on Friday last week to leave my sisters, but hey ho - I bet they don't get spoiled as much as me, so alls good.

  2. Old Age and Health issues

    My 13.5 year old Cav is pretty healthy by all considerations, but recently he has had what I consider "iffy" moments. He seems to shake at times (he will be just standing there and his body shakes); the other thing he does is pace. He does this before his feeding time, when he can't find me, and, in general, when he seems to be nervous. This happens fairly frequently anymore. He also loses his balance in that he will be "pacing" along the side of the bed (when I'm half asleep ...

  3. does anyone have the same problem

    Prince whilst out walking stops dead in the middle of road sometimes and shakes himself (as if he just got out of bath)... he does this quiet a lot and i asked vet and she said it could be anxiety.... Has anyone else had this experience..... I counted the last time we was out and he done it about 7 times..... Its very frustrating....He looks like he has just got out of the bath and is having a good shake xxx

  4. What to feed - wet or dry

    Help.... My 10 month baby was on james beloved dry and since xmas (where I admit I gave him a few nice treats on top) he wont eat it.....I tried the take it away after 15 mins... He still not eat. If i put a bit of wet food with he licks it off and leaves the biscuit..... I wanted him to have dry but am thinking should i give wet in morning and dry at night.....He is very lively.... Just dont want him to get fat.....(My poor ruby had bad heart and I lost her at 8 yrs) I miss her badly...... ...

  5. MMM - Masticatory Muscle Miositis

    My Cav puppy developed MMM 3 weeks after her 2nd set of shots. Her blood serum was tested by a lab and MMM was confirmed. She is now on a special anti-rejection steroid. Although her condition was "Chronic" when diagnosed (jaw nearly completely locked), she has responded well to treatment. She can open her mouth wide enough to carry a golf ball around and although her face "hallowed" the muscles have filled back in. She's a little over 10 pounds now. DOB February 27th, ...
