We're moving in a month. Is there anything I should do to make it easier for Mika? She'll be almost 7 months old at the time of the move.
The weird timing of the move is that she will be in getting spayed that day. I drop her at the vet's at 8:00, the movers arrive at 9:00. Here, the vet keeps them overnight, so she will arrive home the next day already moved in to a new home.
I'm thinking in a way that is good, since she'll be out of the way during the move, but on the other hand, is it all too much for her - to be spayed and move all at the same time?
If I change the day at the vet's, there is no telling when we'll get back in as they are booked months in advance. I can't move any earlier, as that is the day we get possession. I could put off the move for a day or two, but then I'd have a weak post-surgery dog having to go to some strange place to get her out of the way of the movers
Or am I worried for nothing? She's pretty easy going. Perhaps I should be more worried about how Tiger the cat will adapt to the move.
