Agility

How many of you do agility with your cavs?

Bradley is just loving his agility class. Today he managed the whole course (in a fashion!); handled by my 10 year old daughter ..... I'm not daft, I'm not fit enough to run round the field like an idiot ;)

It's wonderful seeing him jumping and he loves the seesaw ... 3 months ago he was still in that puppy farm. He's exhausted this evening :) :)

Yayyy Bradley!! :rah:

I do agility with Geordie. We're taking some time off classes right now though, since our vacation made me miss 2 class sessions in a series.

We were supposed to show in TDAA Teacup Agility this morning, but I had to take India to the vet. It's a 2 day event, so I'm hoping to take him tomorrow. :flwr:

Oh that is such wonderful news to hear!

I do agility with Jaspar -- all for fun, but he can manage the full course and I might consider doing some fun competition with him. I havehad all the dogs on some of the equipment though. Leo loves the dogwalk and A-frame though he wouldn't be great on jumps and generally it's not a good idea to work an SM dog really hard. So we do just small bits. Lily learned that fabric tunnel thing amazingly fast (anything for food, as far as she is concerned  ) and she liked the dogwalk too. Little dogs all seem to like the dogwalk! I'd like to try some more agility with Lily.

I can just imagine seeing bradley running around the agility ring.. He and your daughter must have been so cute together!! :) I am glad that he's doing so well and fitting in.

I would really like to put Kosmo into agility, but to be honest, I am waiting until we are first done with our obedience training. I want us to be able to have a continuation so we're constantly doing something all the time. I really think he would have fun at agility as he's a complete nutter anyways. Agility does seem like it would be really fun though. :) :flwr:

Fran I can't believe Jennifer is only 10 - I thought she was at least 12

I'll bet her and Bradley had a wonderful time yesterday, she is so good with the dogs, bless her.

You know, I think Bradley must think he's died and gone to heaven since he got you as his Mummy :lotsaluv:

We were going to do obedience first too, but Bradley developed an urgent need for socialisation with other dogs. So now he does obedience on a Wednesday and agility on a Saturday. The trainer is very calm, so neither dog or handler gets stressed :) :).

I'm sure Kosmo would love agility :)

All this talk of agility gets me all anxious to try it. :jmp: Riley is still a bit young yet, but he is so springy and agile. He loves to go under and through things and jump in the air after insects. I think he would love the agility course.
I would love to see a Cavalier doing agility! I'm gonna try to find a class to observe.
