Just to let you know that Vetmedin {Pimobendan} is now available as a palatable tablet, rather than the capsules.
I know many people find it hard to get their dogs to swallow tablets, so this may help.
My friend's bitch will take the new palatable ones from your fingers with no incentives like butter!
Worth asking your vet! :xfngr:
Just a reminder that these need to be given at least one hour before or after food, do not give them with a meal.
If you are giving tablets or capsules, put them in at the front of the mouth or down the back of the throat - if you put them to the rear of the tongue the automatic instinct is to push it out.
