They don't have any image tags on them -- you can either type them in or you click the little box that has the mountain on it when posting, and paste in the url.
It's much simpler than that girls. Just copy/paste your pictures. No need to click any of the icons above. That's what I do :D
Thanks for that.
Are you copy/pasting urls or copy/pasting actual images from your own PC? You should not be able to upload anything directly except your avatar and profile pics.
If you are copying and pasting a pic from another website then it is just putting image tags directly on the pic that is hosted elsewhere.
It is considered better netiquette to make copies of pics and upload them to a personal account like Muchos, Photobucket or Flickr, then run the link from there -- otherwise everytime someone looks at those pics here, the bandwidth comes directly from the host site. That can push someone else's account over the limit and cost them money. If it is a large commercial site then there's less of an issue -- an item from a sales site for example or a big publisher.
Oops, I will have to delete my Restoration pics then...Thanks karlin, I had no idea. :o
I don't think it will be a problem for that site, and it is some nice advertising for her dogs ! But it is good to keep in mind. I have had angry emails from the occasional person when I've direct-linked to an image -- some have low bandwidth accounts and if 200 people are suddenly viewing pages that need to use their hosting bandwidth, it can even crash their site.
