Poor little guy!
Leo has has surgery twice for anal gland abcess and drainage. :( We were lucky as he didnt have drainage tubes in but the last time they had packed it with something that was the colour of mustard and that took three days to ooze out all over my furniture:eek::eek::eek:
Hope Josh is better soon.

Poor josh, it sounds awful. We had a lucky escape with Brandy recently, found him howling in pain and it was obviously an anal gland issue so took him to the vet. It turned out that it had burst but the wound was very small and was treated with painkillers, antibiotics and regular cleaning. Sounds like we got off lightly.
