Cavalier Gathering!
Went to visit Lyra's breeder again over the weekend to get some lessons in show handling... But a couple of other people came along too, bringing their Cavaliers who are related to Lyra :D The dogs had a such a blast!
I absolutely adore this picture. It was such luck that I even managed to get it in the first place!

From left to right: Chloe - Simon - Lyra (they are from the same litter). At the back: Xaria, who is a couple of months older and is their half sister. She has earned 2 CCs and is 1 CC away from gaining her Ch title!

Chloe--she has so much more fur (ears, featherings, etc.) than Lyra already!

Chloe. She looks so much like Lyra, sometimes I have to do a double take to figure out who is who in the pictures!

Thanks everyone! It IS really great that I get to bring Lyra to go and visit her relatives. I always try to see if they remember each other, but Lyra always acts like they're just any other dog, lol. She went and sniffed her mom and was kinda curious for a bit.. but after 30 seconds she wandered off to search for more interesting things, lol.
It's kinda sad because one of Lyra's sisters (she was the pick of the litter) was recently exported overseas to be shown, so she didn't get to meet her again :( Her brother Simon is due to be shipped off to a show home in a couple of months, too. So in the future she'll only get to meet 2 of her littermates.
It's interesting to see how the litter has grown, though! Lyra is the smallest of the litter.. she's 7.5 months old and about 10-11lbs.. she also has the shortest fur. I'm trying to get her fur to grow! So she gets 1 capsule of fish oil everyday. Anyone else have any special tips to help with coat growth?
