Just to update, he actually was only just picked up and has to do his 5 days in there. If not reclaimed he can be homed after November 1st :) .He can be booked in advance of that date by going in person to the pound (they will not book a dog by phone). I do not think the pound will be open again until Tuesday now due to the bank holiday although possibly may be open for a couple of hours Sunday.
