Dare i say..spring has sprung early in victoria

Febuary is known as our worst month here in victoria.. the month where..if its going to snow..itll probably snow in victoria.
but tempatures have been around 10*, we have days of sunshine...floweres are springing.. the blossoms are coming out,
Yes we still get rain..it is british columbia. but its been nice. *knocks on wood*

last year..shortly after i moved to my new suiet..when i discoverd i was aloud to get a dog..but hadnt quite chosen what kind, i found myself walking down memory lane..back to the place my grandma lived when i was a child.. it was a town house complex, with a hugeeeee park and field, a stream to feed the ducks. i noticed it was an offleash park though. and knew id bring my puppy there some day


took maggie last weekend but forgot my camera. so i took her agian this weekend.. this and last weekend was her first time offleash.

its a HUGEEEEEEEE field..competly fenced in and rather shelterd away.. its not a well known dog park at all so theres maybe MAYBE 1 or 2 other dogs while your there..but for the most part it was me..maggie and a huge open field.

i wanted to get some action shots of her so i threw some maggie sized sticks.

She's silly cute :) Interestingly we have some spring flowers popping up here and there....my tulips are even starting however it snowed this week!!!!!!!!!!! On old saying in Virginia if you don't like the weather just stick around 24 hours it'll change. We have wild temperature swings instead of a fall or spring. Its like 54 on a Monday 69 on Tuesday then 30 Wednesday.............you learn to live with it but let me tell you its super nice to have an almost 70 degree day in the middle of February!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks..im so happy with them. well we went down to the field early afternoon with the camera..then i took her to petsmart to get nails trimmed..they didnt have bath appointments (thankgoodness) because none of my pics turned out the way i wanted them to..so i brought her back to the field to try again LOL .
i am so happy with these. Look at that smile!! she is so happy. I LOVE IT.
she wasnt as happy after i bathed her at home.

haha melissa..we have that saying here too..acutaly yesterday was the very example of it.. it was pouring in the morning, then by the afternoon i was in the naprooma nd my coworker goes 'oh its like a tornado out there'..it was so windy....then the wind blew the clouds away..then they came back..by the time i got home it was sunny but windy.. lol. it was crazy.
but funny.

She is too cute!!! Love watching her grow up she is just so sweet. But I am envious of your weather!!! Here in Ottawa there are signs of spring...but now they're calling for 30cm of snow tomorrow. BOO :cry*ing:

You can probably get some pretty cool photos in the snow.
im am greatfull and thankfull it has snot snowed here this year yet.. i cant imagine potty training her in the snow. she is so distractable. we have a patch of lawn to ourselfs (unfenced so i have her on a leash and im standing waiting..) on a fairly well used street. not a main road..but its got a bus rout.
anyways..if someone dares walks by while we are out there..she watches them from one end of the street..untill they completly disapeer..and even will stare after them.
sometimes cars distract her..sounds..lights..planes. lol
snow would be too much lol. but its been a really mild winter (knock on wood)


THanks... shes grown sooo quickly. shes lost her baby face :( ..but still has all the attitude of a bouncing little pup.. and i love that.
