    Hi, Bailey is 9 weeks old. He sleeps alot a whole lot , is that normal? He does play but gets worn out and then sleeps for a couple of hours.

    Hi Linda,
    It's completely normal - they get up play for a while and then fall asleep again. He will stay awake longer as the weeks progress.

    Just like our human babies, they need lots and lots of sleep. You may look back on this time in a few weeks and wish he was sleeping more! About 12-15 weeks they really get active and can be a hand full. But what fun!!!

    Ditto here. Totally normal! Pretty soon you'll be wishing for a little more rest as you're constantly watching them run around for longer periods of time, finding everything/anything to chew or try to eat. It's like chasing a toddler around the house. But oh so fun and worth it!
