WOW congratulations Michelle, you must be really thrilledicon_banana
Really pleased for you and their guardians - lovely to see dogs we "know" doing well.
"Oh Mareve is Margaret from the health committee" - yes I think this little Tri girlie lives with Margaret's daughter. Rupert was very excited to hear this result icon_thumbsup

I was rooting for the fox terrier for best it show, but that little pom sure was cute. Great finale. Nice that that little boy and Yogi won the dog of the year award; I bet half the people watching burst into tears when he started cryinng. I liked the dog dancing too.Plenty to watch in the finale including the guy running off the BBC set when the camera started with him in the shot, and the humping golden retrievers in the studio...
I really want to go next year!
i have to admit i shed a tear when the little boy won, didn't he look so proud! bless them
the dog that won was stunning, beautiful colourings too, and the pom was just a sweet little ball of fur.
Mary Ray was great as usual!
i'm definatly going to go next year with the kids, is it on the same time every year? i'll have to find out the dates as i'd have to book the time off work.

Did anybody see Speedy? He was absolutely hilarious![]()
I agreed completely with the judges decision but I absolutely loved the pom which surprised me. I also loved the Golden Cocker who came fourth in the retriever group. I loved the Welsh setter too. In fact I loved them all!

Speedy was hilarious; it was hard to tell if the Swiss woman had any sense of irony about him...![]()
That pom was like a little teddy bear. I really liked the welsh springer too. All the dogs were interesting in that group and it was nice a breed that hadn't won before, won at Crufts! I like merle coats but despite all their attractions which I do understand, I've never been very excited about collies, which probably influenced my 'vote'. Though I like little shelties and like other pastoral dog breeds too. I think I've just been attacked and chased by too many herding-obsessed collies when I am cycling in the countryside.![]()
