shedding

Hi, I have a question. Bailey is 10 weeks old and shedding. I can sit him on my lap and theres dog hair everywhere. Is this normal? And what can I do about it?

My puppy shedded very heavily at around 10 weeks. He was very fluffy before it and after it his coat seemed more silky and smooth. I would say it lasted for about 3 to 4 weeks of constant heavy shedding. I use to look like a wookie after i had held him I was quite surprised because i had heard that puppies didnt shed. Anyway it did stop and now its back to the odd hair hear and there. I really panicked at the time thinking that it was going to be like that forever.

Yep, that is when puppies loose their fluffy fuzzy puppy fur and get their smooth silky grown up fur!
