• If you're a past member of the board, but can't recall your password any more, you don't need to set up a new account (unless you wish to). As long as you recall your old login name, you can log in with that user name then select 'forgot password' and the board will email you at your registration email, to let you reset your password.

id tagging uk law

I wondered if anyone knows the uk law about id tagging, what i have read is that your dog ust wear a tag which has the name and address of the owner on it.
I can't seem to fit my name and address on the tags i have seen. The one i have at the moment has my name and post code on it, is this still ok? Any suggestions?
 
Here's the Uk law from the DEFRA website. You need name and address though I'd strongly suggest phone number and including your country too just in case your dog ever was lost in a foreign country while on holiday.

ALL DOGS MUST WEAR A COLLAR AND CLEARLY-DISPLAYED TAG

The tag must bear the name and address of the dog's owner.

My local pet shop does tags, I have small round discs which have bascially the following:

One side:

Tel Num
Post Code

Other side:
Vets
Tel Num
