This is very interesting. I wish such a scheme would also be considered here in Ireland too, where very few breeders seem to test for hearts. In Sweden such testing is mandatory for puppies to receive full club registration.
This is also of some ironic interest to me as my past suggestions elsewhere that UK breeders seem to be less focused on heart testing than in the US was greeted with indignation by some UK breeders, and an insistence that I didn't know what was talking about. :lol: I rest my case. This is all for the good of the breed so fingers crossed this proposal by Dr Swift gets implemented.
