Bradley's 1st Vet Appointment

Bradley's just been to the vet for his first visit since he moved in with us.

He's had his stitches out from being neutered and was such a good boy!

He doesn't have a heart murmur :)

His eyes aren't infected. His right eye was in such a state when he went into Many Tears that they thought he was blind in it. Drops for dry eye have cleared it up.

The only problem is an ear infection, which we knew he had, so he's come away with drops.

The vet also thinks that he is about 4 years old :) :) :)

I really can't believe Bradley's luck tbh.

Firstly, he is mistaken for a female at the puppy farm and given to the rescue with 4 bitches.

Then his right eye is so bad the rescue think he's blind in it. A little tlc on their part with drops and they realised he had sight in it.

When we phoned up for one of their 5 rescue Cavi's, he was the only one left - probably because he was thought to be half-blind.

Seems he was destined to be our dog. :)

Yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy you go Bradley :rah: :rah: :rah: :rah: :rah: :rah:

See Fran, we said you were meant to be together - anyone who sees you two together can see that :D :flwr:

Bradley is actually still sulking.

He's been scowling ever since he got back from the vets! :( Don't think Bradley liked stitches being removed from a little boy area ;)

oh bless him.

Wonderful news about his heart and his eye, that's great :D

He obviously was destined to be with you, we knew there would be a special dog out there somewhere, and here he is!!!

Definitely meant to be part of your family -- a very lucky boy whose luck has held good (even if he may think otherwise about losing his goolies!).

bradley must think humans are strange creatures sometimes, given his past experiences, and now having stiches put in his privates and then taken out. :yikes however, i'm sure he knows the difference between love-motivated behavior and the other kind, no matter how bizarre. he is obviously an expert on feelings of love. his life is just beginning, how totally wonderful that his heart is clear! i know you are enjoying this loving guy at least as much as he is enjoying you--it's such a moving thing when creatures who have been hurt and neglected continue to have vital loving spirits.

Yay for Bradley! Sounds like his life is now moving into "normal" and he will be happy and healthy after his earlier not so good life.

Great news about Bradley's heart and eyes. HE will now know a loving home and trust. What a sweetie he is.
