Cavalier Fun Match

Just wanted to let everyone know that there is a Cavalier Fun Match coming up. Details follow.

Date: Friday, August 25
Time: 7:00 PM
Location: Washington County Fairgrounds, Minnesota (In conjunction with the St. Croix Valley Kennel Club show)

Come as a spectator or enter your dog at the site. To enter you need the dogs birth date, registered name, and AKC number. To enter, the dog must be intact, cannot have any major wins and must be at least 3 months old.

If you have an intact Cavalier and are interested in showing or think you might be interested in showing, this is a great way to start. It's very low key and no pressure; there are no AKC points. And it's great practice for those puppies that are too young to show in a regular AKC show. And you'll get to meet some great people!

Sounds like great fun Bruce, good luck if you are putting any of your puppers in! can you do some pics for us? so we can can a peep afterwards?

Why can't they have fun stuff like that here in OK? :( :( :( Sounds like they need someone here to host Cavalier activities and fun stuff to do :D
That sounds like SO much fun Bruce!
Take pictures Okay? :snap: :snap: :snap:

Jeni,

Are you a member of the UK CKCS club?
they do a few bits through the year, some of the shows and health information days, where you can get heart/eye checks etc are nice, with stalls to pick up brushes, leads, toys and all that kind of stuff, they are held all over the UK.

What a great time we had yesterday evening at the fun match! We had a total of 22 Cavaliers, a great turnout. Probably 1/2 the Cavaliers had never shown before so it was a learning experience for a few. The first picture are the 4 winners and the second picture is a general shot after the competition.

Didn't get to take a lot of pictures because I was showing Duece. He took first in his class, but nothing after that. The tri that Kris (far right) is showing is a boy named Casper that we bred a couple years ago; he is owned by a wonderful family just a few miles from us. He got Best of Opposite and his family is just thrilled!
