I am thinking of getting a leather couch for my kitchen as the one I have is vvvvvv old.
Would a doggie i.e. Phoebe, scrape it with nails?

I HATED our fabric furniture because it was so hard to get the hair and dirt off. Just can't say enough good about leather; but, like Vikki said, the right leather. The only thing I don't like about it is that, compared to fabric, it's cold in the winter when you first sit down and bare skin tends to stick to it when it's really hot. But I guess that's just the nature of the beast; just not that important to me considering the advantages.
Say Vikki, where were you when Kris and I were spending all that time researching leather? just kidding!!

But in the sunroom, the issues cold and heat that Bruce describes will probably be pretty annoying. Is there anyway to avoid the cold and skin-sticking effects and still have a durable leather the girls wont destroy?
