• If you're a past member of the board, but can't recall your password any more, you don't need to set up a new account (unless you wish to). As long as you recall your old login name, you can log in with that user name then select 'forgot password' and the board will email you at your registration email, to let you reset your password.

Hi all. I had a question for you all. I have been contacting breeders in my search for my first Cavalier. I have a quick question for those of you who would know, one of the breeders I contacted said she does not test for hips because she does not want to put her Cavaliers under anesthesia unnecessarily. I am just a little concerned about that as the health of my pup is my number one concern and priority. I was wondering if you can check hips without putting the dog under or that has to be done to properly check for the hips. This breeder is listed on the CKCSC.org site so she is a reputable breeder so dont think its a puppy mill or anything Thanks for your help!
 
If you aren't concerned about price or location, I have a few breeders I would definitely recommend.
