Cathy, I so wish I lived closer so that I could join in. I even did a mapquest from my house to Cleveland, but it is just too far to drive. It would take 4.5 hours. I can't wait to hear and see pictures of your January get together.

P.S. Cathy - do you see my new avatar? - it doesn't look like 2 pictures anymore that you were teasing me about. Katherine on the Cavalier Connection webboard saw my funny two picture job and with her expertise in photoshop surprised me with this avatar that really looks like a single picture. She is really gifted.

Charleen, wow your avatar is fantastic! She did a wonderful job - it's like waving a magic wand!! (I wish I could afford photoshop.)

We are going to have to figure out how to get you out here for a play group! I'm trying to imagine my house with 7 cavaliers in it :lpy:

That just has to be Cavalier heaven :D .....lucky, lucky you! look at all those lovely little bright eyed faces!

Alison, Wilts, U.K.

that looks like so much fun Cathy!! And I think I spotted you!! :yikes You're so pretty!!! :)

Cathy - are you getting together on Jan. 20th? I'm weighing the feasibility of joining you. We have had no serious snow yet this winter.

Hm-mm 2.5 hours to Cleveland... HM hm-mm...

Do I smell road trip?? Once my lil Cicero gets big enough, we might have to make a road trip! :drivecar:

oh you are so lucky Cathy, that looks wonderful fun. Fantastic to have all those Cavaliers together :D

I think that's you on the front row - far right - looking almost as stunning as your beautiful doglets? :flwr: :flwr: :flwr:

 Nicki, you are too kind! the three of us were ready to fall off the chair, as Colin had just plopped them on my lap and India was squirming and tickling me while Geordie was crowding her out with his wiggle-butt! Of course he kept angelic Chocolate for himself!

Ooooo Charleen, that would be so fun! I am bringing either 2 or 3 dogs on the 20th (Geordie was a bit of a handful last time, so he may not attend.) Ed Dickson at North Coast Dogs wants everyone to pre-register by phone and bring vaccination records.

MathisGreen, I have been to Columbus and back 3-4 times last month, and it isn't a bad drive at all since I-71 is finished! You should come as soon as Cicero has had all of his shots! :)

Cathy - I went to the website and there are 3 locations listed. Is this the right address?
Lakewood/Cleveland
10237 Berea Rd Unit J
Cleveland, OH 44102

I did a mapquest and it is 4 hours away. Hmm, now I need to decide if I want to do the drive and which dogs to bring. I thought if my sister came with me we could bring all 4, but I couldn't talk my sister into coming, because she manages an accounting dept. and needs to do Year-end - yuk!

Which dogs? I don't think I can handle 4 dogs in a new place alone, so I am thinking of which 2.
Jolly - the puppy of course - wouldn't want to leave him home unattended
Merry - is 2.5 years old and very outgoing
Pippin - is 3 yr 4 mo. and more shy, but so handsome and easy to handle
Luke - 4 yr. 3 mo. and doesn't like new things, so he is least likely to enjoy the outing

Wow Cathy Moon!
What a great photo....LOVE to see you and your doggies!!!
I wish we had a get-together like that here!
Thanks for sharing the photo...it's always nice to put a face with a name here on the board ;) !

That is the correct address!

If you bring 2 and you need a place to stay overnight, you can stay with us. We are approx. 30 minutes of freeway driving from that North Coast facility.

Nancy, I think it's time for a road trip! :drivecar: ;)
I wish you could come too!

Charleen - You would come down 90 which goes right through the towns Barb M and I live in (Willoughby, Painesville). We'd be glad to meet up with you and you could follow us to North Coast. :drivecar:

That's a great idea, Jackie! Yes, Charleen... we would love to be your escort.

Jackie meets at my house and then I drive to North Coast. It's only about a half hour from my place, at the most.

In the picture, I'm in the first row on the left with Bentley (tri) and Clancy (Ruby) on my lap.

I chatted with Cathy last night via PM about which dog to bring with Jolly and she suggested a few ways to pick and it was helpful. I'll be bringing Pippin. I am definitely leaving Luke at home and he and Merry snuggle, so he'll be less anxious being home with Merry. Pippin does play with Jolly at home, but at doggy day care they have their own playmates and don't play with each other.

I sent an email to Ed at North Coast Dogs last night and he has already answered me with the details. I have a reservation for 2 dogs.

Jackie and Barb - what a nice idea. I'll send you private message with my contact info. It really depends on the weather for me, so we'll have to watch and wait.

Let's hope for NO snow or bad weather!! It will be so much fun meeting you Charleen. Maybe next time we can get a playgroup around Mentor, OH which will cut your drive time 1 hour. b*n*n*

Jackie - I like your thinking. Less driving and more play would be great. I am looking forward to meeting everyone.

I just told our neighbors about Cavaromp. They have a lovely blenheim boy named Wesley, and I'm hoping they'll bring him on the 20th.

Jackie and Barb, I'm going to leave Geordie home so I can socialize a little more this time!
