Clancy is teething furiously. The problem is, very few of his baby teeth have come out! He has a double row on top in the front, and has EIGHT canines right now.![]()
He is busily chewing on a meaty bone this minute, but the baby teeth are not wanting to budge. I don't have a good count, but I'd say he has 10 baby teeth that are firmly still there with the permanents right next to, or behind them.
Do I need to fill the vet in about his ultra abundance of teeth? How long do I wait to see if the baby ones will come out on their own?

They do tend to come out with enough encouragement but if they are not moving at all, will need to be pulled. Vets often do this at the time of a neuter.
