    Default Inturned Eye Lids

Minnie May went in to be spayed & have a hernia fixed last Thursday week - surgery went fine and within 24 hours she was back to normal!
However, vet gave her a good check over whilst she was under - her annal glands were full, and her bottom eyelids are turning in to her eye.
He's advised just bathing them with optrex for the time being as there is no obvious redness or nasty discharge. He will review her in 6 months, as he feels she is a bit young to do anything at the moment. We will then decide whether surgery is required. Just wanted to know if anyone had had this type of surgery on their baby.

Yes, my little tri girl, India, had a slight case of entropian. We waited until after she was 1 year, then the vet used a laser around the edges of her eyelids. She came through it fine; here she is 1-2 days after the procedure:

If it isn't taken care of, it can lead to corneal scarring.
