Doggie Dilemma

OKay, I have just seen an ad in the trading post for 3 cavalier boys free to a good home. They a 3 yrs old. I dont know what to do. I would be willing to take maybe one or 2 on but 3? :yikes And all boys to boot. And they wont seperate them. Dh says I can give them a call tomorrow night cos I cant ring until after 5. Chances are they have already gone. But taking on 3 might put people off. What do you think I should do?

I would at least give them a call and see what the story is. They may be better off in your house than where they are and if can't handle them, find them a suitable home. What this sounds like to me is irresponsible breeders/puppy mill and perhaps these fellows are failing to produce properly. Keep us posted and good luck! :flwr: :flwr:

I came across an advert like this in England. Turns out they were from puppy farms and werent socialised in any way.

Okay so I just rang them and they are gone. I am kinda sad but I hope they have gone to a loving home.Thats the second time I have tried to rescue and been thwatted by some other caring person. Jeez I wonder if they were desexed. I really hope so. But I am not going to ring back and ask cos whats done is done. I am starting to think that maybe I do really want another Cavy sooner rather than later. Is that wrong of me do you think? Hey I know , maybe someone can ship over a couple of rescues from another country. Nah then it would have to be in quarantine for 6-8 weeks and thats not nice, least its not 6 months like it used to be. Sometimes I really wish I was in another country like America or Canada so I can do my heart work with my dogs. Sorry for rambling I guess I am a more down about it than I thought.
