Wallis Saw the Specialist

hi donna

poor wallis seems to have an encyclopedia full of conditions and you are such an amazing mommy just managing to keep up with it all!! you and wallis have been in my thoughts since you told us about her troubles and indy and i send you both lots of hugs (and some for tibby and bubba as well). you've been through so much in recent weeks and i hope that you feel better soon. i can't imagine how hard this must be for you.

i'm so glad that you have found such a great vet to look after wallis---that will make such a huge difference to how both of you feel. speaking of---it's good to hear that wallis is in good spirits.

please look after yourself as well as you can and know that we are all thinking of you guys!

As Kim said, this has really been a severe long blow for you. When are they getting results on whether it is the parasite? Wouldnt it be nice to be able to treat it with antibotics and bring some peace and relief to you both! Hang in you are doing a fabulous job as nurse mommy!

Today I'm about to go crazy over it. I want Wallis to be okay - which she really never wil - but I'm getting tired of them doing all these tests and not really knowing anything. The doctor admitted to me that he was "chasing zebras" now. It's fine to chase zebras, just don't use my pocketbook to chase them!

Spending the money wouldn't be bad if we were getting anything positive in return. Today I feel like they are just testing and testing, making Wallis miserable (when she doesn't know she's sick), and we're footing the bill. If the money was going into treatment (surgery, meds) I would feel a little differently. And it's one of those things - it isn't so much the money as the principal.

I think I'm grumpy. Sorry. I'll slap my hands and go lay down somewhere, preferably with my dogs. :|

Oh Donna I am sorry hunny *HUGZ*

Take a nice nap with the dogs and just love on them. It's hard to go through what you're going through - I have been there myself a few times (although not with dogs.) Just keep telling yourself tomorrow is a new and different day. I pray for Wallis and you to have strength to get through this together. Good Luck Donna and if you ever need a friend I have PMed you my phone # :flwr:

Keep on going I am thinking of you and Wallis and hope for the best ----Aileen and the gang (Jazzie --Barney---Sam)

Thinking about you and Wallis. I do hope that the vet finds out something soon and can at least give you more information.
