Darby's Mom

Hello all!
Like many of you, I am on a constant quest to find something that gets rid of Darby's red tear staining... especially since I show her on a regular basis, it seems such a shame to have those ugly red streaks mar that gorgeous little doll face.
I've tried everything.... diet change, Diamond Eyes, Eye Envy, apple cider vinegar (which worked for a while, then stopped), etc....
Well, it looks like I've finally found a miracle product!! It's called Angel Eyes! I've been using it for a little over a month, as I wanted to give it a good "test run" before recommending it on the board. WOW!!! Unlike all the other things I've tried, which are topical... this is a powder that goes in their food. I was a little leery of anything systemic, but it is 100% pure beef liver, tylosin as tartrate (so it tastes yummy). From the Angel eyes website "Angel Eyes works to prevent tear staining by tying up circulating porphyrins. A porphyrin is a compound that reacts with light to produce a reddish brown stain to the medial canthus. The ingredients in Angels' Eyes will prevent your dog from contracting Ptyrosporin (Red Yeast) and bacterial infections which causes excess tearing and staining." It's even safe for pregnant dogs! Darby still tears, but it is minimal and it is completely CLEAR!! I am thrilled! All I have to do is wipe the moisture away - absolutely NO staining!! Plus, it gets rid of staining around the mouth, too!
It took about 2 weeks to really notice a difference - but the difference is night & day! WOW!!! To help with her prior existing staining, I applied a mixture of 50% waterless shampoo & 50% hydrogen peroxide (3%) to her stains before bedtime, to get rid of the pre-stained fur... any new tearing is clear!
Check out their website... the stuff is quite expensive, but WELL worth it.

I highly recommend the 4 oz (120g) bottle, as the 1oz (30g) bottle only lasts about 1 month. I have found it cheaper on the following website (where I purchased it), and they include shipping free!
