    Help i cannot remember how to do them and now i am after losing the one i have!

    Go to User CP top page left button, click edit avatar, upload photo or link to a photo you have on an online photo album. Make sure height is no more than 75Pixels and dpi about 72.

    i have done all that and it keeps saying invalid URL!

    That could be because the size is wrong (too big), or you are linking somewhere you cannot link -- certain photo album sites for example. Is the image somewhere like Flickr or Photobucket?
