I used to wonder why people bothered to put coats on dogs... then I moved into a house with no garden and indoor dogs. The drier the dogs remain, the less damp the furniture will get.

They are great photos, and mumma sure has her kids kitted out nicely for their wet walk. Love the look of disgust on their faces.... and then the contented little smug looks when they are back inside.
