Rain, rain, go away

Jaspar loves water -- as long as it isn't rain. You can see he isn't happy about having to go for a walk:

Here they all are in their rain jackets:

And looking a lot happier and drier inside on the sofa!

That is a face doesn't wanna be in the rain!! Can i ask where u got the lead for walking all of them?

How funny, what a little sourpuss! I love their jackets, how stylish!
The last photo is hilarious--Jaspar makes the best faces!

Love the jackets. Where did you get them? Can you get pretty ones? And my pair detest the rain as well, especially Holly who will refuse- I mean, absolutely will not walk has to be dragged refuse- to go for a walk if it's raining.

BTW, is that the easywalk harness? 'Cos if so I've been putting mine on wrong. I thought the double-Ds had to go across the dog's chest?

It's not the easy walk -- it won't really fit correctly over a jacket. These are step in harnesses from Petedge.com. I have a LOT of harnesses! I give away one of the step in harnesses with rescue dogs when I remember -- I have a whole supply of them for rescue.

The jackets I got through a wholesaler but www.dogtrainingireland.ie sell the same ones or similar, except the colour stripe one which someone gave me -- came from the Accessorize shop, very trendy! It has a zip on hood that I took off as it would fall over Lily's head as she's so small and she wouldn't be able to see. A lot of pet shops carry those other coats though too but they ARE kind of plain.

Jaspar really has to be dragged along in this kind of weather but he is perfectly happy out in the rain if he is off lead in the park; go figure. He specialises in sour faces when he dislikes the weather.

Oh, the lead can walk up to four dogs (though you can get a one dog lead too) and has to be special ordered. Kind of costly but the exchage rate is good and they are excellent quality. I can make four individual leads or a two or three or four dog lead out of it so it's not like *a* lead but getting a whole set of them. NIcki has one too.

I love the miserable face on Jaspar in the rain, you wouldn't think he's the same dog that loves to get mucked up to the eyeballs in the creek :D

Oh Jaspar!

You look so disgusted!!

I think that with these dogs if they have to go out in the rain they sulk, but if they choose to get wet and messy then it's a different kettle of fish altogether!!

Love the coats and the multi lead by the way, were you in the girl guides at all? Prepared for every situation!! ;) :D

I used to wonder why people bothered to put coats on dogs... then I moved into a house with no garden and indoor dogs. The drier the dogs remain, the less damp the furniture will get. :)

They are great photos, and mumma sure has her kids kitted out nicely for their wet walk. Love the look of disgust on their faces.... and then the contented little smug looks when they are back inside. :D

haha that expression on Jaspar's face is priceless!!!! very nice jackets!! They are all gorgeous

Karlin the three of them are gorgeous :luv: . Need to get finn a rain jacket and one for me
