Heavy breathing

I've noticed Indy seems to be breathing heavily each night when she's crashing on the couch before we go to bed, and still when we go to bed and she's laying near me. Has anyone else ever notice anything like this? SHould I be concerned? Thanks for your input!

Mine do this as well! Bax does it more than the other 2 i put it down to them being totally relaxed with u as my ma saw it on a programme with a vet that when ur cav is totally relaxed they are in a deep sleep!! i could be wrong!

Do you mean as in panting, or just slow deep breathing? Is Indy within a healthy weight range? Obesity can cause heavy breathing & panting in a resting dog.
