Pyoderma

Poor Minnie's been diagnosed with pyoderma (a bacterial skin infection) and we are having to put cream on it twice a day. She started off with two separate patches one under her front leg and a small one on her chest. We didn't realise how big a patch she had on her chest until vet shaved it - covers an area of about 3inches diameter.
Then today noticed another big patch on inside of one of her back legs
so back off to vets to get that area shaved off.
She's looking a bit forlorn and moth-eaten at the moment!:( Just hoping it doesn't spread much more.

Oh, so sorry she isn't feeling well. I hope the cream works for her quickly!
Does the vet say what causes Pyoderma?
