New classes at Dog Training Ireland, official supporters of Irish Cavalier Rescue! Note the Feb seminar on dancing with your dog!! I am definitely going to that with Jaspar. :dogwlk:

Hi All,
Just a quick note to let you know that the following training classes
are now available to book online.

Saturday courses are the first to go so book your place online as
soon as possible. The next Saturday courses after these will not be
until November!

Puppy Socialisation

Puppies under 18 weeks. This specially prepared course aims to give
owners an excellent working knowledge of how to care for and rear
their puppy. Puppies are given the opportunity to start some training
and also encounter many positive experiences and interactions to help
them grow into well balanced adult dogs.

Beginners Pet Dog Obedience Level 1 (Semi - Private)

This Semi-Private course has a Student/Dog to Trainer ratio of 4:1
instead of the regular group ratio of 6:1. Your course will consist
of 1 trainer working with 4 dogs or two trainers working with a 8
dogs. This guarantees more individual attention for you and your dog.
The course lasts for four weeks and attendance weekly is required.

Beginners Pet Dog Obedience Level 2 (Semi - Private)

The Level 2 beginners course is designed to help you progress further
with your dogs training. This Semi-Private course has a Student/Dog to
Trainer ratio of 4:1. Your course will consist of 1 trainer working
with 4 dogs or two trainers working with a 8 dogs.

Clicker Training

Learn how to clicker train. Remember this course is aimed at teaching
the person to clicker train. Ideal for trainers who wish to extend
their skills.

Agility Level 1

Ever watched dog agility and wanted to give your dog a chance to do
it? Now you can with this 6 week course.

Agility Level 2

This 6 week course is for dogs who have completed the Dog Training
Ireland Level 1 Agility course.

Difficult Dogs

For those dogs needing extra help in the area of aggression or
inappropriate or dangerous behaviours we will be running further
Aggression talks. We ask that you attend an Aggression Talk before
starting work with your dog. It is vital that you understand the
reasons behind the aggression and how to deal with it. it is also
important that you understand the time and commitment required to
retrain your dog. This talk will give you enough information to move
forward and deal with the problems.

N.B Dogs with on lead aggression, dogs who stress bark around other
dogs or dogs who are reactive around other dogs will not cope in a
class situation so it is important that they do not attend regular
class. If you are unsure please contact us first.

Dancing with your dog!

Watch out for details on the one and only Richard Curtis
www.k9freestyle.co.uk
who comes to the DTI centre in February 2008 to give a 1 day
workshop on K9 Freestyle also known as Dancing with your dog! This
workshop will book fast so book your participant (dog and owner) or
spectator (just the human) place online once available.
