Would you be so kind and advise a novice PC user how I set my profile on this forum please.

Just go into your User CP (control panel) -- at top eft. Then you can set it up as yu like. There are lots of variables! Ypu can also set up more stuff in your personal profile -- just click the link at the right of any of your posts and it will take you there. This is more complex to set up though.

I'm also abit confuddled - I have joined, and have submitted an 'introduction' to who I am etc.. in that area.
I can't read any of the other intros, though, and can't get to my profile

I think you should be able to access it now - the first couple of posts are moderated and after that you should have full access to the board.
