Hi, Hope you are all well.
I wonder if you can help with this? My kaytee is 8 and though she has had a teeth scale A year or so back she still has a plaque build up on the far back teeth, ever since I have had her, her gums have bled if you try to gently brush the teeth, she did have gingivitis which was a while back and I don't really remember what this is or does? But anyway the vet checked her teeth a few weeks ago and said stick with what I am doing, which is putting Logic toothpaste on her gums and teeth, though I brush my other cavs teeth kaytee finds this painful.
I am really worried though about the plaque as she has a bad heart and so many other problems dont want these to cause more, though the vet says they are good for her age I still want to get rid of the plaque without putting her through a scale at the age of 8.
Do you know what the scraper things are the vets use? could I get one as the plaque really comes out and I am sure I could scrape it off with the right tool. Or do you have any other ideas?
Thanks and sorry to have gone on! xxx
