Joint care

Sometimes in the mornings, or after Murphy's been snoozing for a while, his front leg will make a 'cracking' sound when he gets up. He never shows any signs of being lame or stiff, but I was wondering if I could give him a supplement or something to help him.

He's only 2, it doesn't do it all the time but I'm not sure if it's a normal thing or not. I mentioned it to the vet but he didn't seem worried about it

Insist on the vet checking all joints next time you go. I have digby on fish oil and glucosamine for his joints on the advise of our vet/specialist. He has mild hip dysplaysia and arthritis though but I'm sure it would not do any harm to supplement anyway so long as you get the dosage right which you would need to check with your vet anyway.
