How much did you feed him, and was it the food that gave him gas earlier?

i personally don't think it's the food that gave him the gas...they have been on the same food since they were about 4 months old and they are 6 months now and i haven't changed it...we were giving them tripe mixed in but we ran out a couple of weeks ago and it just now came in.....i don't know...but like i said, he's pooping, peeing, and playing normally

You might want to switch Bailey to California Natural Lamb & Rice or Canidae All Stages, which are both high quality foods that aren't too rich.

Some dogs cannot tolerate the higher protein foods, or are sensitive to certain proteins or grains. One of my dogs, India, doesn't do well on EVO, while the other two were fine with it. I always have 2 or sometimes 3 different brands of food on hand, as Geordie needs a grain-free food, while the others don't.

I'm also thinking about the serving size, and wondering if that could be a contributing factor. Currently Geordie gets a slightly rounded 1/3 cup, while the girls get slightly rounded 1/4 cup, depending on the calorie count of the food, and they are fed twice daily. When they were puppies, Geordie got 1/2 cup and India got 1/3 cup.

I think we figured out what was wrong...we are moving and we have moved in with my in-laws and they have terrible terrible tap water and last night I started using bottled water and his gas has gone away. Yay! I was so worried but it looks like he's going to be ok.
