Default News: household foods and products can kill pets

Please have a read through this informative article -- some of the dangerous items may surprise you! For example: there is cyanide in apple seeds! And raisins and grapes have a cumulative effect that can destroy the kidneys!

    And remember:

Common signs of poisoning include muscle tremors or seizures; vomiting and diarrhea; drooling; redness of skin, ears and eyes; and swelling and bleeding.

If you suspect your pet has consumed, inhaled or come in contact with a toxic substance, stay calm and call for help immediately.

Two more plants that are very toxic to dogs: Foxglove and Lily of the Valley. If you have Foxglove, please make sure your pets can't go near it.

Thanks, Karlin, for the article. Clears up some of the mysteries of what is safe and edible.
