Since my husband and I are hoping to do lots of camping this year with Maverick and its just good to have I'm looking for a good dog first aid book and maybe a list of items to have for a dog's first aid kit.

I have a good book on canine health and it has first aid section, its called

CARING FOR YOUR DOG by Dr Bruce Fogle

Bruce Fogle also has a book just on first aid. It has help me a lot of times

First Aid For Dogs

They do have it listed on the American site but I used the UK page as it has more info on the book.
