We were away for the weekend and left our spoilt doggie into a kennel/doggie hotel we used once last year who offer a free collection/delivery service. (We usually leave him with another board member who is on hols at moment)
He was booked in from Wed evening until yesterday morning. When I rang on Wed I was told he'd be collected between 5 and 6 pm. By 7.30 still no sign of the driver so I rang again and was told he'd be there in an hour. 10.30pm the driver finally rang and said he was lost so I went driving and found him nearby - now I didnt get annoyed, traffic was bad on Wed and I though ah well these things happen.
Yesterday morning I was at work waiting for a phonecall to let me know the driver was nearby so I could rush home for a big cavalier hug and kiss. At 12.30 I still hadnt heard anything so I rang the main number and was told there was a mix up Rex was down for delivery back today. They said that last night was complimentary - their mistake and he'd be here by 10am today. I was a little annoyed but said nothing and thought Oh well its only one more night.
So today - waited again no call - at 12 I rang and was told they'd mixed up the details AGAIN and that there was no delivery service tomorrow as their vans are being serviced - they'd drop him back THURSDAY!!!!!!!!!!
At this point I got extremely annoyed - one mistake I can forgive but to be told my doggie wont be back until Thursday is ridiculous. They offered a reduced rate and a free groom as an apology.
I said this is unacceptable - my doggie was due back yesterday and forgetting to bring him again today is totally out of line. I said I wanted my doggie back today - yesterday was a "clerical error" but the same "error" again today is just a joke - then the guy who owns the business started screaming at ME when i said this. He screamed he'd drop him back tomorrow morning before we leave for work if we want him back so badly.........
I'm so upset mainly because I miss my little Rex - we've never left him for this long since we got him almost 2 years ago and because of the way that man shouted and screamed at me because of his mistake and unprofessionalism.
