Hi Everyone,
Apologies in advance if this is a repeat topic...I did a quick scan for similar discussions, but didn't find any.
Bijou, my 12-month-old Blenheim, refuses to venture far from the house or take walks around our neighbourhood. When she was around 7-months, Bijou had a similar phase of anxiety, but read that it was common at around that age. Now, I'm unsure if this is just a phase or a larger concern.
We have a great dog park and walking path nearby that Bijou loves, but she won't budge. I have tried everything: treats, her favourite squeaky toy, encouraging words. I have resisted pulling or forcing her (she wears a harness).
Bijou was a timid puppy and thought she had outgrown it.
Any thoughts/comments/recommendations?
