The British Vetinary Association has added to the pressure that has been piling onto the Kennel Club since the BBC's documentary Pedigree Dogs Exposed.
After initially offering support to the KC in the immediate aftermath of the programme, they are now calling for a review of breeding saying "too little has been done" to improve breeding practices.

"While efforts have been made to improve breeding over recent years, it is clear that too little has been done so far and we are, therefore, joining with other interested organisations in calling for an independent review on the breeding of dogs in general.

So that's the RSPCA, DT, PDSA, NDWA, Pedigree Foods and Hills all withdrawing and now criticism from the BVA.
Waiting on the BBC now to declare it's stance on Crufts 2009
