Hi guys, don't want to sound too much like a drama queen, but more than a little concerned about our Lucy, She has an appointment to see the vet 1st thing tomorow, but id thought id put up a post for a little guidance/advice/or just any info you think might be relevant?
Over the last couple of days, Lucy has been a little shivery, and we just put it down to the colder weather we're getting this week, and put her wee coat on for walks,
However, earlier on this afternoon, I was sitting at the computer, and looked round to see her sitting in the doorway trembling like mad, I scooped her up onto my lap,to try and calm her down, and try to set her at ease, but this was way more than shivers, this was almost like a fit, full body trembling, and she was whining and kind of snorting with it, after a little while, she settled down and it seemed to pass, so I called the vet and set up the earliest appointment I could get, i'm pretty certain it wasn't anything like an epelectic fit, as she was till fully awawre of me and her surroundings, but it deffinately freaked her out, whatever it was she went thru, I have never seen any of my dogs over the years, past and present go thru this kind of thing.......the best way to describe it is, if anyone has ever seen a drug/alchohol addict withdrawing, and the severe shakes they get......that is what it was like....she was rattling!!
She's calm at the mo, tail wagging away, lying watching us all go about the house, but she's definately not 100% herself,
I'm sorry to waffle on folks, just as I said never seen anything like this in my dogs, and quite upset at the minute
