• If you're a past member of the board, but can't recall your password any more, you don't need to set up a new account (unless you wish to). As long as you recall your old login name, you can log in with that user name then select 'forgot password' and the board will email you at your registration email, to let you reset your password.

Sorry this isn't cavalier related, but I'm reading the April/May 2009 Bark magazine, and came across an article about canine DNA medical research with regards to a genetic disease in the Dalmation breed. Since I can't post the article here, and it isn't available on the Bark site, I looked up a link (from the article) to the Dalmation Heritage Project, which shows the positive impact on canine health that breeders, dog owners, vets and scientists working together can achieve: http://www.dalmatianheritage.com/index.htm
I'm wondering if a similar effort will be needed in the future to help the CKCS breed overcome CM/SM.
