Weight

Her growth rate depends on how many were in her litter. In a normal litter of 3 to 5 pups your girl will probably be around the 6 to 7lbs mark. In a small litter she would weight a bit more, and from a larger litter she'll be a bit less just now.

As a rough guide Amber was one of 3 and weighed 8 1/2 pounds at 14 weeks, maturing at 18 months to 14 lbs (she currently needs to gain weight). Lucy was one of 6, was 4 1/2 pounds at 14 weeks and weighs in at 9 lbs at 8 months. Lucy is smaller framed than Amber and I expect her to reach a mature weight of around 14 to 16 lbs.

Size and weight also is very dependent on the size of parents and grandparents -- so it is hard to give a weight your pup *should* be but you've got a ballpark figure now. Your vet will be able to tell you if she is in good weight as she grows. Puppies are pretty good at eating just what they need.
