How well can you read dogs?

That was fun: It didnt look to me from the offset as a procarious ssituation. The Pit was wagging his tail and did a slight 'look away' as he approached and the Akita if felt threatened would have stopped scenting straight away and addressed the 'problem'
Its interesting though!! I dont think breed matters as all dogs display body language and signals no matter what they are.
