I've been thinking a lot about what makes a good dog food.
Of course there is a lot of factors that go into dog food, such as the quality of ingredients, nutritional value, is it wet or dry, how well does the dog like (its hard to feed a dog something they dont like), is it good for their teeth, and sometimes even how close is it to a natural dogs diet?
While there are more factors out there I wanted to know what you Cavalier Owners look for when choosing what to feed your Cavalier, even if you make it yourself!
Lets start with the top 4 criteria you look for when looking for a dog food, if you can reach 4.
I'll start
1. Ingredients Used - I am against fillers
2. Nutritional Value - prebiotics etc are important to me
3. Wet or Dry - I prefer dry because its an easier clean up
4. How easy it is to feed to my pup - Shes picky
I had a few more in mind earlier, but I can't seem to remember.
I'm currently feeding Bella Wellness Super 5mix Just for Puppy Food
So what are your thoughts on the subject?
I'm using the data gathered to help determine the criteria I'll use for rating dog food on my Blog.
