Just taken a couple of pics of harley with his new hood, is isnt too keen, plus he seems to be in pain around his neck area. The vet has given him some Tramadol until they can speak to the neurolagist at the animal health trust.

What's the difference between a new husband and a new dog? After a year, the dog is still excited to see you.

Oh poor Harley
I've just bought a comfy cone, http://www.allfourpaws.com/ which I obtained from e-bay, for Fufu, as she gets sore eyes and rubs them {she's having vet treatment}.
This is much more comfortable for them to wear.
The medium seems to be fine for Cavaleirs
I hope Harley is a bit better soon, good luck with the neruologist.

I have in the past hired a padded neck brace from my vet. It stops the dog from turning their necks to pull out stitches etc. but seems to be more comfortable and less stressful than the Elizabethan collar.
