• If you're a past member of the board, but can't recall your password any more, you don't need to set up a new account (unless you wish to). As long as you recall your old login name, you can log in with that user name then select 'forgot password' and the board will email you at your registration email, to let you reset your password.

Cavalier Show/Event in the Michigan area

Hello. We have 2 Cavaliers-love them-my first pets and I'm in my 50's.
Would love to see a bunch of them at some sort of show or event within driving distance of the Detroit area. Any suggestions?

I agree!

I am also in Michigan (ann arbor area) and have 1 cavalier (the love of my life!) and would love to see a cavalier event. Let's cross our fingers!

The best way to find out about conformation shows featuring Cavaliers is to check these websites:
http://www.ckcsc.org/ckcsc/ckcscevt.nsf/current (none in 2010 in Michigan)
http://www.akc.org/events/search/ (click on a state on the map and then click on "Search").

On the AKC website, the event code "AB" means "all breeds", which most likely will include some Cavaliers. If you want to "OD" (overdose) on Cavaliers, you should go to a "Cavalier specialty show", which would be limited to just Cavaliers.

In Detroit, there is a major all breed show the weekend beginning March 6.
