    Default Cinders MVD

Cinders who is 10 and a half had her annual check up today. My vet is very very pleased with her progress. She has a Grade 3 murmur - confirmed by specialist nearly 2 years ago. Started on vetmedin a year ago because her heart rate was becoming abnormally fast and erratic.

However, despite being on the vets table, he said her heart rate is within the normal range and there has been no deteriation in the heart sounds. So far no coughing or any other adverse signs have been observed. He also praised the condition she was in and said she was looking excellent for her age.

So all in all a very happy Sandra & Cinders

How great to get news like that!! Do you give her any supplements, like Omega 3 or CoQ10 or any others? My little two year has a grade1 murmur and I'd like to keep it that way forever.
