    Default Sudden loss of hair.

Dylan's hair started coming out in clumps today.

So I took him into my new grooming parlor (adapted the shed) and brushed out a huge pile of fur. He seemed to have held onto his winter coat until this very hot weather which triggered his body to drop it suddenly, albeit rather late.

He actually looks smaller! I also trimmed his pads to keep him cooler and he's had a tepid shower. I got a tip from a very good breeder friend to trim his pads and dip his feet in water to cool him off. He suffers badly with the heat with his thick long coat.

Still a fluffball though. Here's Dylan now, it takes hours for this boy to dry off after a shower.

He looks so cute all fuffed up.
I get that much hair out of mine at any time of the year.
